为乐棋牌The Copyright Office sponsors legal internships for talented law students with an interest in copyright law and policy through the Copyright Office Law Clerk Program (Law Clerk Program). Law clerks gain valuable experience and insight working with Office attorneys on copyright-related issues that arise within the Office, before Congress, and in the courts. Law clerks are instrumental in helping to prepare Copyright Office reports for Congress and are frequently called upon to assist with the Office's International work. Although Law Clerks are not paid, they often arrange to receive academic credit through their law school for their work at the Copyright Office. Additionally, in some cases, Law Clerks are able to obtain stipend support through public interest grant programs and the like.
The Office of Public Records and Repositories (PRR) seeks a college student volunteer to help make the Office’s historical records easily available to future generations. PRR is responsible for preserving, maintaining, and servicing copyright-related records in physical and digital formats.
Students selected for this internship will assist with the digitization of paper-based public records including the Copyright Card Catalog. Their role in this project will consist of assisting with the digitization activities; researching data capture tools, search options, and indexing tools; metrics development; digital archiving; and process drafting for maintenance of historic records.
The Copyright Modernization Office (CMO) directs and coordinates all modernization on behalf of the United States Copyright Office, including resources, communications, stakeholder engagement, and business project management.
This internship provides invaluable knowledge and work experience through a variety of tasks that support IT Modernization and its execution across the entire Copyright Office. Interns will have an opportunity to work on special projects or supplement CMO staff assignments with a focus on project management, data management, process and business analysis, and communication.
